I've been thinking about adapted sports in fashion for my current design assignment. As I was brainstorming, it became apparent to me just how many designers have gone done the equestrian path recently. Here are some of the more successful interpretations in my humble opinion.

I would have loved to adapt such a sport to my assignment, but i just think it's been done too many times, and very successfully in some cases. I need to think of a sport that has a lot of detailing in the get-up - like rock climbing, motorcar racing, diving etc. Anyone got any bright ideas? Here comes the catch....I then have to combine my adapted sports outfit with a textured cultural piece.

i love the luella outfit. i would totally wear it (minus the riding cap tho maybe!).
